The Boeing Company is seeking a Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist-Plumber for the Kirtland Air Force Base, NM.
Responsibilities for the position:
Follows an established preventive maintenance program to repair and maintain plant and office facilities.
Supports internal customers by responding to repair calls and resolving problems using appropriate equipment and procedures.
Develops equipment specifications and evaluates product capabilities to meet customer requirements.
Performs facilities construction and repair tasks such as painting, carpentry, sheet metal fabrication and drywall.
Completes installations and repairs that may involve such skills as electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing.
Uses assorted tools and equipment to construct, renovate and maintain facilities.
Instructs others in the use of various types of office and maintenance equipment and tools.
Complies with safety, building, security and environmental codes and regulations.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Experience in any of the following fields: carpentry, painting, welding, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing or millwright
Experience with facility/plant repair and maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
Well versed on the latest edition of the plumbing code.
Licensed plumber with the state of New Mexico or another state and the ability to obtain a New Mexico plumbers license within 6 months.
High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
