Location: Morrisville, NC
Answer client calls promptly and efficiently, utilize a PC to locate information, place supply and requisition requests, interact with internal and external clients in a positive manner, document calls and generate the necessary paperwork to accomplish all client requests.
Will act as key point of contact with customers, promoting positive customer relationships. Will respond and follow up to customer inquiries by researching status of orders, repairs, returns, and field service. Interact with other departments to ensure delivery schedules are met. Process technical information and parts for design and test purposes or evaluations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
Update customer data and produce activity reports Walk customers through problem solving process
Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers' expectations Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure
Recommended procedure modifications or improvements
Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
Familiarity with CMMS systems, preferably Infor (EAM) Working knowledge of basic industrial communication protocols Basic troubleshooting skills preferred
Basic conditioning skills preferred
Proficiency in basic computer skills required, ability to learn to use specific programs as needed.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary to provide courteous and professional customer service.
Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling difficult calls and requests. Ability to work with a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements.
High School diploma or equivalency. 0-2 years relevant experience.
