Facilities Manager - Warehouse

The Facilities Manager is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Receiving, Shipping, Procurement and Facility Management functions in the Fulfillment Center. The role of the Facilities Manager is to ensure all operational and administrative duties are completed in an efficient and timely manner according to defined business requirements, quality and service level standards. In addition, the Facilities Manager identifies operational gaps and recommends process improvements to deliver exceptional service.

The Facilities Manager works with Customer Service, Operations, Information Technology, and other production departments, as well as third party providers, to bring about standardizations and efficiencies in workflow, systems, and processes.

This role reports to the General Manager and works closely with the other Fulfillment Center Operations Managers. Supervises a staff and works on-site.

Located in Wayne, NJ.

Skills:

• Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel and Word.

• Proficient with Desktop and laptop computer

• Proficient with telephone

• Knowledge of project/time management Software is a plus

• Experience with Warehouse Management software.

• Knowledge of standard office machines

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision after training.

• Possess strong research skills.

• Possess strong verbal and written communications skills.

• Able to multitask and handle multiple projects at the same time

• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks within established time constraints.

• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet numerous deadlines.

• Demonstrate the ability to cooperate with a variety of people and achieve results.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements

• Perform the basic functions of reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing and perform repetitive motions.

• Stand for extended periods of time.

• Work in standard, climate-controlled manufacturing setting.

• Work with moderate noise level.
