Come join our growing HomeGoods team in Tucson, AZ. As a Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in this facility and support a multi-shift operation with more than 1,000 employees when fully-staffed. The facilities team will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of the building, grounds, and equipment (including the electrical, HVAC, conveyor, forklift, and fire preventative equipment) and oversee all OSHA programs. The Facilities Manager will also coordinate and manage local contractors and vendors to obtain high quality, cost-effective and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in our facility.

  • Manage and develop a maintenance team of 15-20 associates across three shifts when fully-staffed.

  • Maintain efficiency and safety of all equipment, monitoring the daily operation and consult with team to determine future needs.

  • Coordinate across the business with operations managers and supervisors to establish priorities and schedule the workload to satisfy production needs.

  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships and monitor work conducted, serving as a project manager on improvements and repairs.

  • Source and order parts and equipment.

  • Work collaboratively with peers across the U.S. Distribution and Engineering network to ensure standardization and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the maintenance field, supervising a team of mechanics or maintenance professionals.

  • Experience with building start-ups is considered a strong preference.

  • Knowledge of building codes, trade standards, and general practices within the maintenance field.

  • Knowledge of electricity, mechanical, construction, plumbing and HVAC.

  • Strong communication, organizational and project management abilities.
