Samaritans Purse is seeking a Facilities Manager at our Greensboro, N.C. location. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the general management and maintenance of buildings and equipment in Greensboro, NC at the Airlift Response Center. Responsibilities include groundskeeping, housekeeping, cleaning, and general facility management and maintenance to Samaritans Purse quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and requests related to inventory and access to the assigned ministry buildings. This position will at times require the employee to assist with ministry functions outside the scope of normal hours of operation. Come and use your gifts daily to advance the Gospel!
A Day in the Life of a Facilities Manager:

In the role of Facilities Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain your relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
Account for maintenance and upkeep of all property, buildings, furnishings, and equipment.
Oversee service contracts, maintenance, daily and monthly inspections, and testing of Life Safety Equipment including Fire Suppression Systems, CRAC units, Emergency Generators/ATSs, UPS units, and any other equipment that is mission critical with zero tolerance for downtime.
Oversee day-to-day maintenance for all buildings and grounds including, but not limited to, electrical, building setup, security systems, kitchen equipment, panel systems, painting, and grounds care, including snow removal and apron debris removal.
Oversee and track projects for sites under supervision. Coordinate a wide variety of building maintenance and operations activities, and establish and maintain other departmental records and work order database.
Determine whether to utilize internal or external property management services. Contact vendors to secure bids for maintenance, repairs, or other services. Manage maintenance and facility-related vendors, securing competitive bids and monitoring the quality of work.
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all buildings and building systems. Report any departure from preventive maintenance schedules to the Director of Facilities. Keep up-to-date records for maintenance and preventive maintenance, and submit reports and logs every week or as otherwise directed.
Ensure Samaritans Purse tools, parts, and supplies are well organized and inventoried.
Oversee ordering and purchasing of supplies as needed.
Manage assigned inventory.
Maintain a safe work environment. Follow all associated guidelines to ensure work is performed safely.
