PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiencies in building trades including painting, wallpapering, plumbing, seating, and equipment repair.

  • Demonstrated administrative and follow-up skills to achieve successful maintenance and repair programs.

  • Work well with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners.

  • Strong communication skills including the ability to provide clear and concise details regarding building issues.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and achieve results through resources.

  • Proficiency in MS Suite.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly building inspections with a high attention to detail to identify necessary repairs.

  • Perform routine maintenance and timely repairs in the areas of painting, carpentry, plumbing, food and beverage equipment, seating, and all related building components.

  • Oversee vendor activities that include the scheduling of repair and maintenance needs as required; closely monitor progress to ensure quality of work.

  • Provide constant attention to all life safety issues; ensure building emergency systems are operational through in-house inspections and vendor maintenance contracts.

  • Inspect and provide direction and follow-up with theatre leadership regarding cleaning issues that do not meet AMC standards.

  • Report all facility issues that are not immediately repairable to the theatre General Manager and seek technical support from the AMC Facility Engineer as applicable.

  • Ensure consistent maintenance and repair methods for all building components.

  • Develop routine systems to ensure constant monitoring of problem areas.

  • Work with General Manager to ensure theatre crew procedures support an environment that is clean, safe, and in good repair for both associates and guests.

  • Understand and track theatre Variable Operating Expenses (VOE) related to maintenance, repairs, and supplies.

  • Follow instructions on safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials.

  • Perform tasks with tools, ladders, and lifts in a safe and effective manner.

  • Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Provide training support for the market as directed.

  • Uphold AMC's business practice standards and follow all established company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts per the Management Work Schedule policy.

  • Complete all other functions and assignments as assigned by the General Manager/Senior Manager (where applicable).

  • Provided by theatre: AMC-issued shirt, black pants, black belt, nametag.

  • Provided by associate: Black shoes, socks.

Position Overview: * Provide professional engineering services in support of facility management, maintenance, and operation. * Interact with other contractors, government personnel, vendors, and other NGA personnel to coordinate and accomplish major facility improvements and alterations, as well as oversee and support facilities operations. * Provide support to NGA facility operations primarily CONUS with the potential for performance in the CENTCOM AOR. * Responsible for preparing and monitoring construction and maintenance projects in support of NGA's operations. * Duties will include developing and implementing various engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates and designs for operations, maintenance and support requirement to maintain NGA facilities. * Specific duties include directing/conducting studies involving multi-disciplinary engineering programs for facility modifications, operation and maintenance, and construction; conducting engineering studies related to developing specialized facilities with unique standards; validating instructions for facility operations, maintenance, and repairs. Responsibilities: * Provide Facilities Engineering support for SIOE requirements to include engineering services for facility management, operations and maintenance, and project management of NGA's NCE facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization (FSRM) projects. * Prepare Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and Statements of Work (SOW) for each project. * Interact with other SIOE contractor and government personnel, vendors, as well as NCE customers in other NGA organizations as required to coordinate and accomplish major facility improvements and alterations, as well as support facilities operations and update NCE's FSRM model. * Responsible for preparing and monitoring construction and maintenance projects in support of NGA's facility operations, reviewing project submittals, and verifying work completed or services delivered meet the requirements. * All facility engineering services will be done by registered engineers and IAW NGA policy, regulations, instructions, and directives. * United States Citizenship * TS/SCI Security Clearance * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field. * Registration as a Professional Engineer. * At least 10 years experience * Building or facility plans, designs, configuration, and equipment maintenance. * Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Uptime Institute Data Center, ASHRAE and NEC standards. * Knowledge of building electrical and HVAC systems. * Strong verbal and written communication abilities; understanding of DoD engineering procedures and policies; ability to analyze organizational and operational problems including resolution analysis; strong leadership skills, including leading multidisciplinary teams; strong multi-tasking skills are also necessary for this support.
