We are looking for a Facilities Manager that will lead a team of Facilities Coordinators along with promoting and creating a professional safe environment for all staff members and visitors. The Facilities Manager will work closely with Real Estate, IT, Sales & Operations, by managing all services and processes that support the core business of an organization. The Facilities Manager will ensure that the organization has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities by focusing on using best business practice to improve efficiency and by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity. The Facilities Manger will be involved with both strategic planning and day-to-day operations of facility management.
Job Responsibilities:
Coach and develop the Facilities Staff on overall efficiencies in managing repair and maintenance.
Responsible for instituting the standard Root cause analysis approach for equipment/asset failures. Utilize findings to benefit retail stores across the state.
Manage, procure vendors, and schedule for predictive maintenance programs.
Responsible for prioritizing the daily and weekly maintenance requests that are submitted by each retail location ensuring each entity can conduct business as usual.
Works alongside the VP of Facilities to track and provide weekly/monthly/quarterly budget reporting.
Coordinate and lead the facilities and maintenance department to cover assigned areas of responsibility.
Execution of Risk Management and safety process programs
Provide solution-based expertise in facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with a solution-based mentality.
Responsible for managing multi-unit sites within the organization
Track all open tickets and management of Service Level Agreements for all trades.
Prepare scope documents and solicit proposals for repair and construction services from third party service providers.
Responsible for managing projects, supervising, and coordinating work of vendors and contractors.
Trouble-shoots and responds to after-hour and weekend issues as needed regarding the operational aspects of the facilities such as HVAC issues, fire alarm malfunctions, electrical outages, water leaks, etc.
Responsible for managing high work order ticket volume
Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
Direct, coordinate, and plan essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling.
Ensure the building meets health and safety requirements and those facilities comply with legislation and keep staff safe.
Responsible for the maintenance, management and tracking of all company owned vehicles.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, or Finance; is preferred
Without a degree at least 8 years of relevant experience in facilities or operation management is preferred
3+ years of management experience is required
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Available to travel based on the business requirements
