Facilities Maintenance Technician

Xpress Welness is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for providing leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that all of the buildings and grounds within the organization are operating efficiently. This position will be responsible for maintaining departmental records, logs, and files, answers and directs telephone calls and questions. The ideal candidate will maintain professional relations with vendors, suppliers, outside contractors and government officials. This position will ensure that our new and current clinics are maintained at a high level, snow and ice removal is performed in a timely manner when needed, and cleanliness and safety standards are upheld. This position requires a significant amount of travel between locations within Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and plumbing repairs across all Xpress Wellness/Integrity Urgent Care locations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools
• Fabricate parts using equipment such as welders and grinders
• Supervise and coordinate work of contractors when needed
• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures
• Responsible for the efficient, timely, and accurate completion of facility maintenance functions.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Fabricate or modify components as needed
• Use voltmeters and other tools to diagnose electrical issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related experience preferred
• Proven experience in maintenance management
• Knowledge of budgeting, service contracts, and leasing agreements
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently
• Solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices
• Ability to travel between clinic locations across 3 states frequently.
