JOB SUMMARY
Perform skilled and semi-skilled labor in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of County facilities, including plumbing, mechanical, painting, masonry, and basic electrical work under basic supervision.
Work in this classification requires an individual to be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. The work is heavy and requires exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The work also requires the ability to balance, climb, crawl, crouch, handle, grasp, reach, perform repetitive motion, kneel, lift, pull, push, hear, speak, stand, stoop, walk, operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an environment with heavy equipment and machinery that could result in bodily harm to my co-workers or others.
