Facilities Maintenance Technician II

ARA Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our growing team! Summary: Responsible for providing general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs to all facilities. # # Essential Functions Provides maintenance and repair to facilities, furnishings at all sites. Performs#skilled#painting work in the preparation, patching, finishing, and maintaining of all building structures, walls, woodwork, furniture, and equipment by inspecting the work site to determine the materials, equipment, tools, and method to be used. Purchase supplies and equipment for sites using Purchase Card and reconcile monthly. Assembles, maintains, repairs, relocation office furnishings as needed. Maintains company storage facilities and company van. Maintains safety of patients and employees while performing duties. Builds special equipment as required. Ensures that all assigned duties are carried out within the appropriate amount of time. Performs minor electrical, plumbing and HVAC maintenance and repair. Inspects the building on a regular basis to identify and prioritize necessary clearing, etc. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred.# Three plus years of maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.# Electrical, Plumbing and Painting experience required. Skills/Knowledge: Must have a general knowledge of construction (electricity, plumbing, AC, etc) along with #Handyman# skills and knowledge of hand and power tools Must have skilled painting experience Demonstrates appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of work settings Demonstrates ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results Demonstrates a results orientation for delivering appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete and timely fashion Demonstrates the ability to assess and identify needs and develop creative solutions Must be skilled in written and verbal communications, requiring the ability to read and write effectively and efficiently Highly motivated with great organizational skills# Demonstrates appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of work settings Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and presentation software Demonstrates a results orientation for delivering appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete and timely fashion Must be skilled in written and verbal communications, requiring the ability to read and#write effectively and efficiently Working conditions: May be exposed to negligible electromagnetic radiation.# Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
