Job Description
Responsible for general duties associated with daily maintenance and operation of several facilities. Areas of knowledge needed are electrical, minor plumbing, painting, and areas specifically associated with buildings and facilities.
Requires a minimum of high school diploma, two to five years' related maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license. Maintenance related certification, trade school certification, or college degree preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted. Must be able to climb steps, kneel, crawl and carry/move up to 50 lbs.

Description of Duties
Perform preventive maintenance and repair restrooms fixtures, HVAC filter changes, replacing light bulbs, light fixtures and ballasts or report problems to appropriate person.
Considerable knowledge in the operation of lighting systems, electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC light maintenance.
Operate light duty equipment such as pickup trucks, bucket trucks, scissor lifts, and genie lifts.
Help with daily preventive maintenance on equipment needed to perform jobs and clean-up of equipment and vehicles.
Knowledge of construction methods and ability to use tools and light construction equipment.
Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations that obtain to light construction and HVAC.
Detailed oriented problem solver with strong communication skills and able to interact with all levels of employees.
Preparing requisitions for acquisition of any required equipment or supplies.
Prepare and complete administrative paperwork using clear and concise grammar and punctuation.
Responsible for cleaning areas after construction or related maintenance work is completed.
Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED.
Five year's maintenance or related experience.
Possess a valid motor vehicle operator license.
Maintenance related certification, trade school certification, or college degree preferred.
An equivalent combination of education, training or experience may be substituted.
Supplemental Information
College training courses in facilities maintenance and/or Certification.
Ability to use prescribed computer software.
Possess mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and good physical condition to work in all weather conditions and environments.
Possess the ability to quickly assess a situation.
Must be able to work in high heat and humid conditions. Must be able to maintain equipment and vehicles in cold, rain, snow, and other adverse weather conditions.
Work environment has a certain degree of risk in contracting various types of infectious diseases.
Must be able to climb, crouch, crawl and possibly enter confined spaces during the routine process of performing various projects.
Must be able to use hands, fingers, and arms as well as be able to stand/sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift/move weight up to 50 lbs.
