Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for providing operational, maintenance and troubleshooting support for facilities maintenance through strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP's.

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, a typical day may include the following:

• Create and update new and effective documentation via workflows on qualified documentation systems.

• Raise change controls and execute test plans for changes to facilities qualified systems.

• Complete Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) on equipment / systems in a timely manner.

• Initiate and contribute to Notice of Events (NOE) and Escalation of Events (EOE) to facilitate timely closure.

• Provide guidance and support to colleagues relating to initiation and closure of Change control, workflows, CAPAs etc.

• Monitor and control of systems applying computer driven Building Automation System (BAS) and Qualified Building Automation System (QBAS).

• Providing trends of process equipment and systems for GMP compliance verification and use trending application to identify Energy Savings opportunities (BAS, QBAS, and Data Historians etc.)

• Identify and implement changes and improvements to BAS, QBAS, HVAC and Utility process equipment. This may include design and implementation of new equipment/systems, review of design documentation SDS / HFAT / SFAT / SAT / VTOP etc.

• Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts registering various aspects of utilities operation to ensure that equipment is operating accurately.

• Switch from automatic to manual controls and isolate equipment mechanically and electrically to allow for safe inspection and repair work.

• Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.

• Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment and systems.

To be considered for this position, candidates ideally should have an BS/BA in Engineering, Life Sciences or related field preferred along with experience in an SOP, ISO or similar regulated environment strongly desired and the following minimum relevant experience for each level:

• Associate Specialist: 0+ years

• Mid-Level Specialist: 2+ years

• Senior Specialist: 5+ years

Additional proven experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement. Level will be based upon experience relevant to the role.

Salary Range (annually)

$58,480.40 - $124,300.00
