Pony Bird is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities.
SALARY RANGE OF $52,457 - $65,561 BASED ON EXPERIENCE

What does a Facilities Maintenance Manager do?
Manage and perform preventative and routine maintenance and repair on agency buildings, vehicles, appliances, equipment, generators, HVAC units, wastewater treatment plant, septic systems, electrical, and flooring.
Determine priorities and schedule maintenance work to be completed; communicate scheduled work to applicable staff; assign personnel to respective jobs; and review work for conformance to standards.
Prepare written scope of projects needed to acquire timely and comparable bids and proposals for all property maintained by Pony Bird
Provide oversight and direction to the maintenance, custodial and housekeeping teams while working alongside as needed (working management position)
Develop and monitor the approved budget for assigned departments
Maintain accurate financial records for all department expenditures
Respond to emergency maintenance requests during and after regular working hours
Serve on the Facilities & Grounds Committee
Schedule and Work Location:
4:00pm or 8:00am
4:30pm
On-call hours outside of regular office hours
Hillsboro
Qualifications:
Minimum of 21 years of age
Valid driver's license in good standing
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to make sound judgments
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to learn and use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams in addition to other programs used by the agency such as the selected maintenance tracking software
Must be able to communicate in an effective and clear manner, in both written and oral form
Must be able to apply basic mathematical concepts in all units of measure for interpreting miscellaneous drawings, instructions, and schematics and for the purpose of budget preparation.
Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors
Ability to be flexible to provide the needs of the individuals served
