Your Impact:

The Facilities Manager will direct a team of trades and craftsmen to include Electricians, Carpenters, HVAC technicians and others and will have direct oversite of maintenance, upgrades and fabrication of test facilities throughout the US Army Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) on Ft Huachuca.

Must be technically competent in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products to include MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint. General duties will include project development, setting project priorities, project assignments and the efficient management of resources.

Must be able to accurately interpret building plans and blueprints, Statements of Work (SOW), develop and present rough order magnitude (ROM), develop projects based on general requirements and author general Safe Plans of Action for the main shop as well as individual projects. The Facilities Manager will also professionally interact with people at varying levels to plan to include US Govt facilities groups, professional engineers, facilities managers from other organizations, trades and craftsmen, contract specialists and customers to coordinate and report on project's status.

The Facilities Manager may also be required to work with other organizations in support of EPG for test facility and real property renovation, construction, operations etc.

Here's What You'll Need:

Required Skills/Education:

High School Diploma and minimum 5 years of experience in residential and non-residential facilities maintenance management. Must have a strong working knowledge of building codes and federal environmental requirements and be capable of researching standards and requirements defined in various US Army regulations. .

Required Clearance: US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting, standing and the use of tools for extended periods of time. Position may also require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen.

Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.

Work Environment:

Combination of office, shop and outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle or office (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Shop environment may include working with and around heavy machinery such as forklifts and other heavy material handling equipment, fabrication carpentry and welding equipment. Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates.

Equipment and Machines:

Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.

Must be familiar with and competent in the use of basic shop related equipment and tools such as saws, drills, drill press, lathe, various sizes of hammers, wrenches etc.

Attendance: Regular hours will be 40 hours/week Monday - Friday with every other Friday off.

Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance is required. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to special situations based on critical mission requirements. Position may require occasional weekend or evening work depending on task requirements.

Other Essential Functions:

Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management, and co-workers.

Must have clear, concise, and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written.

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others.

Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner.

Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required.

Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects.

This may involve airline travel.

When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.

This position will require a valid driver license to operate a variety of vehicles.

VIEW JOBS 1/14/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-04-14T00:00 Description Job Description: The Army and Mission Partners Division within the Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Subcontract Program Manager (PM) to support the US Army NETCOM Regional Cyber Center (RCC) CONUS program. The PM will lead a talented team in providing Enterprise IT services to the RCC-C, in support of the prime contractor (DirectViz Solutions) with services that may include network engineering and administration, cyber security (penetration testing, malware analysis, cyber watch operations, etc), systems administration, applications systems analysis, and more. Leidos is looking for a PM that will plan, coordinate, and manage the actions taken by the team to support both the prime contractor and customer. The PM will serve as the Leidos single point-of-contact with the prime contractor for management issues and technical matters. The PM will interact regularly with the government customer to understand where Leidos can bring innovations and efficiencies to support the government mission. The PM must effectively negotiate workshare, responsibilities, and manage on contract growth. The position will be responsible for managing cost, schedule, quality and risk to ensure subcontract requirements are met; provide financial reports, collect and analyze program metrics; prepare and participate in informal and formal reviews. We are looking for a team-oriented leader focused on delivering and supporting the goals of RCC-C. The PM must provide the leadership and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire, lead, direct and manage a complex subcontract. The PM will interface with senior NETCOM leaders and directors to help maintain and sustain critical infrastructure.
