Facilities Maintenance Manager

Our client, a leader in metal fabrication, is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager for their newly expanded 150,000 sq ft facility. This role is pivotal for ensuring the smooth operation of their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, which specializes in titanium machining and various welding processes.

With a significant market share in their niche, our client offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead their facilities maintenance team and contribute to their continued growth and success. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, waste water systems, and cranes. Manage and lead a team of 6-7 maintenance and janitorial staff, ensuring efficient operation and high standards of safety and maintenance.

Oversee machine maintenance throughout the plant and coordinate with machine maintenance experts on the team to resolve technical issues. Maintain and repair pneumatics and hydraulics systems to ensure the smooth functioning of manufacturing equipment. Coordinate and supervise ongoing construction projects.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability. Manage the upkeep of the facility, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Must have: 15 years of experience in facilities maintenance, particularly within a manufacturing environment. 5years of management experience Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, waste water systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams effectively. Ability to coordinate and oversee construction projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferences Experience with machine maintenance. Background in construction, with the ability to manage complex projects.
