Responsible for maintaining lobby, offices and general school cleanliness, while compliant with federal and state guidelines
Ability to follow directions of the Business Office Manager as well as management staff in accordance with assigned work duties and daily/weekly checklists.
Follow all safety standards and training guidelines
Maintain and secure doors/entrances as instructed
Keep building, furniture, equipment, and school property, as well as outside grounds to an acceptable level of cleanliness.
Maintain and operate equipment, such as floor buffers, mops and vacuums to achieve acceptable level of cleanliness.
Discarding trash and/or boxes, empting trash receptacles daily
Submit list of cleaning items as well as needed supplies in a timely manner
Make minor repairs as needed
Assemble items and small equipment
Report to Business Office Manager or Campus Director any needed repairs and/or safety concerns
Maintenance care for custodial equipment and instruction for proper usage
Ability to independently arrange and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Must be able to perform outside labor to include, but not limited to minimal up keep of school grounds
Ability to maintain prolonged standing/walking as shifts require
Willingness to assist with physical lifting as requested/needed
To perform other duties as assigned
Regular and reliable attendance
Possesses High School Diploma or equivalent
Possesses relevant extensive experience in facilities maintenance
