Job Summary:

Working as a Director of Facilities at Caldwell University, you will be a transformative leader in the area of facilities management. You will be the coordinator behind the seamless operation and transformation of our plant facilities and building renovations. Your role isn't just about management; it's about shaping the future of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• You'll lead the charge in reviewing and evaluating our current programs, services, and procedures, always seeking avenues for enhancement and innovation.

• Supervising the flow and quality of our work, you'll ensure that deadlines are met with precision, applying ground breaking computerized programs for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, financial management, and energy controls.

• With a keen eye for budgetary management, you'll thoughtfully prepare and manage departmental budgets, including spearheading our utilities energy savings program to enhance efficiency while minimizing costs.

• Navigate the regulatory environment and ensure our adherence to standards set forth by esteemed bodies such as State Health Department, EPA, and more, establishing our reputation as a paragon of compliance.

• Guide and inspiring our dedicated staff, you'll foster a culture of excellence, providing the training and motivation needed for every member to flourish.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships is your forte, ensuring that their needs are not just met, but exceeded at every turn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience sets the stage for your journey, while a minimum of 5 years of hospital engineering maintenance experience at the Director or Assistant Director level solidifies your expertise.

• Your intimate knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agencies will be instrumental in ensuring our operations remain not just compliant, but ahead of the curve.
