Job Description Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED with life experience will be considered.
Minimum of one-year previous maintenance or janitorial experience preferred. Certifications in electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC preferred. Facilities Coordinator must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including being on call for emergencies.
A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting with managing all fiscal operations of the agency, including schedule of regular preventative maintenance to building, agency vehicles and equipment.
Conducting monthly inspections of the shelter to ensure that the health and safety hazards are remedied, all repairs are conducted as needed, and that all monitoring and safety mechanisms are in working order. Responsible for the cleaning of shelter, Admin office and SAC.
Responsibilities will include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash.
Maintain inventory and purchasing goods & materials for the shelter, storage area and within the designated budget and Agency policy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining schedule of regular preventative maintenance to building, agency vehicles and equipment.

Conduct routine fire drills and intruder drills at the shelter facility to ensure staff readiness. Minimum frequencies for these drills are monthly for fire drills, and quarterly for intruder drills.
These drills should occur during varied shifts of shelter operations. These drills shall be documented in a logbook specific to the type of drill, and will contain, at a minimum, the following information: date and time of drill, evacuation time, any problems encountered, and procedural corrections needed to be made. Responsible for the cleaning of shelter, Admin office and SAC.
Responsibilities will include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash. Perform light maintenance tasks to include, but not limited to changing bulbs, A/C filters, etc. at shelter, administrative building, and sexual assault center. Maintain inventory and purchasing goods & materials for the shelter, storage area and within the designated budget and Agency policy.
Network with vendors, repair technicians and service providers and accompany those vendors when providing services to the facility. Coordinate, participate and supervise special volunteer projects as assigned. Monitoring the appearance and ensuring the cleanliness of the shelter. Assume other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
