Assist National Compliance Manager in the coordination and collection of compliance records and permits as necessary for operational compliance per local, state and federal regulations. Including but not limited to operational equipment permitting, refrigerant usage, hazardous materials storage/use, Fuel storage/usage, etc., for new, existing, and decommissioned critical environment facilities.
Use the client's web-based tool to maintain documentation and notifications of compliance obligations.
Ensure that the program is running as intended and all users can access their data.
Support data validation activities, working with team members to update the system as data gaps are closed.
Support data remediation activities associated Asset Naming structure changes
Prepare and submit compliance reports to the client's regulatory and compliance group.
Support the client's Risk and Compliance Group in insurance, regulatory, or corporate audits.
Support the client's Risk and Compliance Group with collecting and maintaining required business licenses.
Assist the account team in meeting or exceeding account Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork with account-wide team, and proactively share and re-apply all lessons learned, successes and best practices.
Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with client representatives, team members and service providers.
Self-starter, ability to proactively research compliance needs to resolve a compliance need or gap.
BS degree in environmental science or related field
5-7 years relevant work experience
Knowledge of real estate, facilities management, and building systems required.
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
Experience in reading and understanding regulatory code, required
Experience in researching regulatory code, a plus
Experience with data base management a plus
Experience with auditing and monitoring quality systems and implementing continuous improvement initiatives a plus
Experience promoting open, constructive, and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates, peers, and clients
Able to work within a changing environment, and enjoys working through complex challenges
