The Role: Amazon is seeking a highly motivated, organized Facilities Business Analyst to create analytical tools that will ultimately be a key driver in driving the growth of the company. This Seattle based position will be part of an exciting, fast-moving business unit, where everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment. You are the right person for this job if you have a strong end-user focus and a passion for producing high-quality work. You must demonstrate the ability to efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources across multiple projects while balancing the needs of multiple business partners. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to make decisions and find solutions quickly and with confidence.   • Responsible for tracking assets, preventative maintenance, contract services and providing standard activity dashboard/reports

  • Research, review and support all elements of purchase orders and invoices

  • Develop and manage ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards to drive key business decisions

  • Define data parameters and standards that the team can leverage tenable more robust analytics/reporting

  • Support rotating after hour emergency response

  • Provide and influence operational best practices to support future growth

  • Prepare business reviews for senior management team regarding current/future state including what is at risk

  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible/actionable format

  • Participate in strategic & tactical planning

  • Support other duties/projects as needed

VIEW JOBS 4/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-15T00:00 Overview The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. Over the past 25 years, these institutions have worked together to support their mission of adult and pediatric oncology patient care services, research and education. SCCA Real Estate, Data, & Analytics is responsible for a portfolio of owned and leased properties of over 600,000 sq. ft. in 16+ buildings. The Facilities Project Analyst II is responsible for Facility Strategy related projects including: maintaining facilities data sets and systems; providing data analysis and decision support to the Director of Facilities, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors; maintaining documentation of all properties and leases; maintaining and implementing the Facilities Master Plan and capacity assessments; and developing and maintaining metrics and performance indicators for the operation of SCCA Facilities. Responsibilities also include management and execution of special projects impacting SCCA's Real Estate and Facilities portfolio and coordination with SCCA Space Planning to support proactive planning for future space needs. Responsibilities * Facilities Data and Systems – Selects, implements, and maintains facilities data and systems, including: space use data, capacity assessment, and financial analysis. Maintains space data sets using CAD and FaciliCAD programs. Maintains documentation of all SCCA owned and leased properties. * Data Analysis – Gathers and interprets data, analyzes results, and provides ongoing reports. Researches, prepares, and delivers presentations and reports using data from Facilities systems and outside sources. * Decision Support – Provides data for and analysis of potential projects and initiatives, including: space estimates and availability, test fits, time and resource estimates, project risks, and project dependencies. May present to executive leadership and the SCCA Board of Directors, as appropriate. * Facilities Master Plan & Capacity Assessment – Maintains and helps implement SCCA Facilities Master Plan and collaborates with Clinical Analytics team on annual capacity assessments. * Metrics and Performance Indicators - Partners with the Real Estate, Data & Analytics team and the Director of Operations to establish guidelines for facility/space related metrics. Assists in developing relevant metrics and performance indicators based on the analytical needs of the organization. * Special Projects and Initiatives – Manages special projects impacting SCCA's Real Estate and Facilities Portfolio. * Space Planning – Collaborates with SCCA Facilities Operations and other teams to understand Space Planning decisions and support organizational growth. Develops tools and systems to improve oversight and efficiency of space use and support proactive planning for future space needs. Contributes to the success of the Real Estate and Facilities Analytics Manager through collaboration, cross-training, and backup support of key responsibilities, including: * Lease Management – Managing SCCA Lease Portfolio, including maintaining lease files and implementing process improvements. Qualifications Education and Experience: * Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study required, Master's Degree: MBA or related field of study preferred * 2-4 years of relevant experience required Key Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Collaboration * Able to work successfully with multidisciplinary teams from all areas of SCCA. * Able to effectively listen to, and acknowledge the needs and perspectives of stakeholders. * Able to accurately represent these needs in support of SCCA Facilities projects and operations. * Able to leverage resources and creatively resolve problems related to your work team.
