Job Title: Facilities Associate Project Manager Department: Medicine | Office of the Dean The Facilities Associate Project Manager assists with the coordination of day-to-day administrative functions and operations of facility and security management for the College of Medicine/Office of Health Sciences (COM/OHS) involving a portfolio of 7 buildings, more than 200,000 sq. ft. of space all varying in function, research, administration, to educational spaces; serves as a contact for faculty, staff, and students for facility-related events; serves as a contact for renovation projects, physical operations and maintenance, and safety and security issues; participates in planning and development of facility projects; responsible for responding to afterhours calls (based on a rotating schedule amongst the COM Facilities team); assists with facility access and conducts annual access audits; in coordination with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), the Project Manager will serve as the EHS Safety Representative for the College of Medicine who monitor and enforce laboratory compliance, proper hazardous material handling, and safety standards; identifies, investigates and resolves issues involving laboratory non-compliance and building safety standards and regulations including Office of Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA, and fire and building codes; oversees EHS Assist deficiency responses for all COM faulty); assists with periodic building and safety audits; serves on various University-led safety committees.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. A minimum of one year of experience in a facility services capacity to include facilities maintenance and building security desired, preferably in a medical or health sciences research setting; basic knowledge of ADA and OSHA health & safety requirements highly desired; ability to lift 30lbs or more; computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications desired.
