Summary

The LSA Facilities and Operations Department at the University of Michigan is searching for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team supporting the operations of the Research Museum Center with some overlap in the Biological Sciences Building. The primary responsibilities of this position include triaging facilities maintenance and custodial needs, providing assistance with construction and renovation projects, coordinating furniture furnishings and equipment, and performing administrative duties. We seek an individual who demonstrates a commitment to high-quality customer service to faculty, students, and staff and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

The Research Museum Center is home to four LSA research collections - the Museum of Zoology, Herbarium, Museum of Paleontology, and the Museum of Archeological Anthropology and is located on Varsity Drive in Ann Arbor. It houses invaluable collections and is home to some 20+ employees.

This Biological Sciences Building opened in Fall 2018, is 312,000 square feet, and is located in the heart of U of M on the central campus. This is an in-person position, located on Varsity Drive at the Research Museum Center with some travel to the main campus.
