What we're looking for
The Manager, Workplace Experience will manage the San Diego office and create a best-in-class workplace experience for our employees. From planning on & off-site events that help Appfolians connect and that are additive to daily workplace experiences and our unique positive culture, to being the welcoming personality who greets employees and guests to the workplace. This role is dynamic in nature, will wear many hats and manage a wide range of projects with grace and an infectiously positive attitude.
Your Impact:
Culture, Workplace Operations & Leadership
Create a best-in-class workplace experience for our SD employees
Hire, develop, and lead the San Diego Workplace Team
Manage day-to-day operations including Food & Beverage program with an internal customer-centric focus mindset
Event Coordination, Planning, and Support for Workplace Experience events including event scoping/defining, budgeting, scheduling, selecting venues, negotiating with & managing vendors, acquiring all applicable permits/approvals, and running the event itself
Connect with employees and San Diego leadership to foster positive and trusting relationships, increase employee engagement and experience, and learn about what would make them more productive and happy in the workplace
Project & Program Management
Support Office Tenant Improvement Design & Construction Projects (current & future)
Report on SD Office-related metrics
Support the Director of Workplace & Program Management with new programs & projects ( Emergency Preparedness, RTO Strategies, WFH Workplace, Facilities & Workplace Software programs, etc)
Create strategies and processes that amplify the employee experience and employee engagement in the office
Qualifications:
Can orchestrate multiple projects at once, keeping things on track and stakeholders informed. Organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment
Decisions are made with the customer experience in mind and know-how, to create an optimal employee engagement & experience
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of audiences. Great storyteller and facilitator
Ability to self-identify, prioritize, focus, and complete real estate, workplace service-related projects
Ability to collect and analyze data, problem solve, and make recommendations and/or decisions based on data analysis
Must be able to be a team player and work with all levels of company employees as well as frequent interaction with suppliers and contractors
Must be able to work in office full time
Must have:
3+ years of experience in a Workplace/Operations role
BA/BS or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Google (preferred) Applications required
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of audiences
Nice to have:
Experience managing and building a team
Asana, Coupa, Procore experience
Project management certification
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $72,000-$108,000
The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate's skills, education, experience, etc.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
