The successful candidate will handle coordination of all onsite events, general maintenance and day-to-day physical operations of the Kearney office(s).
Coordinate all in-house catering needs (Track, order, setup, break down) Assist with monitoring and stocking the office supply inventory - submit order requests as necessary Maintain and clean all kitchens, refrigerators, microwaves, sinks, coordinate trash pick up for events, empty and fill dishwashers, etc. daily Daily upkeep of conference rooms, and organization of office closets Submit daily requests to property management (dusting, lights out, bathroom issues, vacuum, clean glass, spills, etc.) Serves as a backup to the receptionist Monitor and assist with conference rooms, cube and/or conference phone lines reservations Liaise and escort vendors and contractors performing repairs, maintenance or special services Coordinate/Assist in setting up tables and chairs in conference rooms based on reservation requests Provide on-site support to other Kearney offices located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, as needed Distribute mail and packages to staff and/or assist with over-sized or heavy packages when possible Perform other duties as assigned by manager Ability to work beyond Kearney's core office hours which may include morning/evening events and the occasional weekend Submit financial reporting each month to Accounting and Sr. Facilities Manager Serve as an alternate to New Hire OrientationSuccessful candidate must possess the following:
Strong attention to detail and customer service skills Demonstrate excellent time management skills Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, courteous and demonstrates professionalism at all times Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with all levels within an organization and external vendors Proficiency in operating a PC using Microsoft Office Suite Ability to transition among various tasks with ease
