The Boeing Company is seeking a Facilities Analyst in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitors existing contracts to determine compliance as directed. Develops contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant documents. Interacts with suppliers and buyers.

  • Facilitates team relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of the organization's needs and requirements and the continuous improvement of contractual processes.

  • Generates plans, acquires materials, and schedules services for facilities activities.

  • Communicates with internal and external suppliers and customers to provide information regarding adherence to scheduled activities.

  • May research open jobs and validate and confirm availability of labor and non-labor resources (e.g., tools, parts) and assets (e.g., machinery, building, equipment) in order to meet customer service requests, government requirements (e.g., environment, safety), and planned maintenance activities.

  • Supports efforts to review, create, improve, and document processes and procedures related to facilities operations by creating basic documents.

  • May participate in meetings with other organizations such as SHEA, SM&P, Document Control, Legal, Security and Fire, IT) to create and validate processes.

  • Participates in and supports elements of projects. Completes assigned projects. Works to assigned schedule. With limited supervision, collects and logs accurate data from various systems.

  • Performs analysis using developed tools. Assists in making recommendations and implementing improvements.

  • Conducts basic research using varied media (such as internet, reports) to support assigned tasks.

  • Receives and inputs internal and external customer requests for services or goods related to buildings, equipment, and systems.

  • Supports and coordinates the processing of routine requests to meet customer needs.

  • With supervision and in a limited role, provides technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities systems or processes.

  • Ensures that configuration control is maintained for data, processes, equipment, and documents.

  • Supports efforts to resolve business operation problems.

  • May assist in the investigation and development of alternatives, impact statements, and recommendations.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite

  • Experience with Computerize Maintenance Management (CMMS) Software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals

  • Experience in the operation, integration, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automatic test equipment

  • Experience do you have in 'General Automotive Servicing

  • Experience do you have as a machine repair mechanic, facilities equipment mechanic, or manufacturing building systems mechanic

Typical Education:

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Summary Provide senior-level facility electrical engineering expertise through the life cycle of the N2W project program, a mega Military Construction (MILCON) project (planning, programming, design, construction, transition to operations, deployment and operations & maintenance). Responsibilities and Duties * Attend meetings, recurring reporting requirements (e.g. Weekly Activity Reports), and forums as needed by the N2W PMO. * Perform electrical technical reviews for facility programming, designs, constructability, commissioning, and value engineering to ensure compliance with NGA's electrical requirements and are within prescribed budget. Reviews shall typically be completed within 2-3 days, but some may require less than a 24-hour turnaround. * Participate in sustainability and electrical Focus Groups in support of facility programming studies. * Provide electrical engineer services that will assist the government in liaisoning with US Army Corps of Engineers. * Assist in the monitoring of progress and facilitate progress and completion of tasks related to electrical engineering. * Support the following Sustainability Engineer activities: * Ensure N2W's design incorporates appropriate capabilities and technologies to enable compliance with all Federal regulations regarding energy conservation and environmental protection. * Research and present opportunities with organizations such as the Department of Energy and programs like the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) to receive funding related to energy management. * Brief N2W PMO and NGA Workforce about Sustainable engineering to help encourage a workforce culture that desires to be energy conscious. * Ensure compliance with federal regulations. * Complete an analysis on energy management opportunities. Qualifications and Skills Required: * Must have demonstrated recent experience (12 years minimum) in the area of Electrical Engineering related to design and construction of complex vertical facilities supporting a high technology mission. * Must also have demonstrated experience in inspecting quality and adherence to specifications of both construction documents (plans, specifications and design analysis) and work in place on large (over $50M) federal construction projects. * Must have demonstrated experience with the latest trends and state-of-the-art technologies pertaining to electrical engineering practices in facility design, construction, renovations, space management, construction delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Early Contractor Involvement, etc.) and knowledge management to ensure that major capital development projects meet the owner's current and future requirements. * Current Professional Engineer license (can be issued from any US state). Desired: * Certifications related to energy conservations such as a Certified Commissioning Authority, Certified Energy Manger (CEM) or in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED), or their military equivalent. * Experience in Military Construction (MILCON).
