Job Description:

Supervises and coordinates the day to day activities of teams that ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of all building properties. Oversees general housekeeping and facility organization, installation, inspections, repairs, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of building systems including: mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management.

  • This position reports to the Maintenance Manager. The incumbent will supervise 3rd party on site electro/mechanical maintenance staff of 3-5, internal facility crew of 3-5, and manage subcontractors on an as needed basis.

  • The incumbent is responsible for overall appearance and functionality of building systems, including workplace organization, forging press cleanliness, mist and dust collection systems, facility ventilation, noise abatement activities, air/hydraulic leak repair and prevention, external pad, parking lot, and green space maintenance

  • The incumbent must ensure through familiarity with policies and procedures relating to Standards of Business Conduct and trains and motivates subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required (Engineering or management dicipline preferred)

  • Minimum 6 years of related experience in the maintenance field required

  • Manufacturing industry experience required (preferably in precision forging and/or machining)

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (i.e. team leader) required

  • Familiarity with HVAC systems preferred

  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; MS Access is a plus)

  • Oracle eAM or other CMMS programs highly preferred
