Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university.

Master's Degree preferred

Guidance background preferred

New Jersey Teacher Certificate

Experience in management of programs that deal with student retention and external job placement preferred.

Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Setting up internship/apprenticeship opportunities for our SJ Tech kids

Preform job development workshops for our students.

Create partnerships with local businesses to solicit further scholarship funds.

Provide resume writing/interview techniques and assist with job placements.

Assist with scheduling students that register over the summer time.

Communicate with students/parents and enroll them in Credit recovery/Credit Completion and keep data on our students.

Analyze and communicate counseling data to other counselors, students and parents on retention status.
