Metal Fabricator (Sign Shop ) We are a large traffic sign manufacturer. Job Description Sign Shop Fabricator Duties and responsibilities: Team members will work with sheets of aluminum to create and fabricate large interstate signs.

Each sign is fabricated in individual panels and joined together mechanically using aluminum extrusions. Part of a daily routine would include: Cutting aluminum sheets and extrusions down to size to create signs Drilling sign panels and aluminum extrusions Applying reflective films and graphics Reviewing detailed shop drawings Assembling and building large signs IMPORTANT NOTE:

This is NOT a welding position. We do not currently weld, however many of the skill sets used for welding or in fabrication shops would apply Qualifications: Applicants must have experience with basic tools including miter /chop saw, reading tape measures, drill press and hand drills.

Applicants must be 18 yrs of age or older Good attention to detail Be able to lift at least 50 lbs Work Environment : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. This position works in a manufacturing shop, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. Bright lights and loud noises are commonplace.
