As a construction Fabrication/Shop Supervisor, you will oversees the operations of the fabrication facility. You will collaborate with the project management team, Estimating, Engineering, Field, and Safety, to coordinate material fabrication and workflow. The Fabrication/Shop Supervisor will have accountability for the daily operations of Fabrication Facility.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Job:
Supervision, Training and Leadership: Providing leadership, direction, and guidance to the team members.
Production Management: Overseeing the overall progress and execution of the Production plan for each of the projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe work
Quality Control: Implementing and enforcing quality control measures to ensure that project work meets or exceeds project requirements
Communication: Facilitating communication between project stakeholders,
Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues or challenges that arises during production
Resource/Budget Management: Managing resources such as equipment, materials, and manpower efficiently
Documenting and Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate records, including daily reports, progress updates
Lean Management: Create a culture of LEAN methods, facilitate coaching and mentorship at all levels.
Business Partner Relationships: Collaborate with customers, & vendors, both internal and external
Communications: Continually communicate with all partners within SE and vendors/customers
Analysis/metrics, Problem Identification & Resolution: Use analytical analysis focused on customer needs and production solutions.
Requirements of the job:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, construction management, or the equivalent in work experience.
Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience
Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction work experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience.
Technical competencies in fabrication with solid understanding of various metals, sealants, glass and related materials
Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Able to use MS Project, Procore, MS Office Suite, and/or similar construction software applications
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
