Job Title: Solderer

• MUST KNOW HOW TO SOLDER OR HAVE EXPERIENCE*

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all policies and procedures

• Comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

• Work within a team environment

• Must follow direction of the immediate Supervisor.

• Follow all quality guidelines & preventative maintenance

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Set up machines using proper gauges and fixtures to ensure proper operation and quality

• Monitor schedule and parts to ensure that correct work is being processed

• Visually monitor machines, fixtures and gauges for proper function and quality; regulate torch

• Notify supervisor immediately if work piece is non-compliant

• Solder Bb clarinet, double reed, harmony, and other instrument keys & components

• Maintain cleanliness of fixtures

• Other duties as assigned

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Regular attendance

• Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction.

• Above average dexterity

• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on working in a team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift 20 lbs unassisted

• Must be able sit majority of shift.

• Ability to bring objects into sharp focus visually; frequent reaching, grasping

• Exposure to chemicals, fumes, and heat source

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
