The Candidate will act as the liaison between internal customers, buyers and management, in procuring indirect material and services as needed, from both International and Domestic customers. Ideal candidates for this position will have strong previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or planning, as well as outstanding communication and customer service skills. Position will involve team interaction to contribute to team development and performance to achieve team and organizational goals.
Applies documented rules, past practices, or instruction on an independent level.
Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is difficult or complex.
Analysis of SAP reports is required in regard to Lead time, scheduling and other SAP data.
Execution of delivery performance measurements. ( DR and SDR).
Frequent interaction in team environment.
Participate in on-going efforts to identify and implement automation and continual improvements throughout the planning process.
Experience in working with Engineering, Quality, and production fabrication.
Actual SAP Experience in Buying & Production Planning.
Knowledge and experience in working with Excel reports from SAP, measuring delivery performance of suppliers, and analyzing data using KPI metrics.
Production Planning/Manufacturing Experience.
Participates in monitoring of materials through the production cycle.
Participates in the preparation and maintenance of basic reports; analyzes internal capability; participates in make/buy studies and cost analyses. Experience with - MD04, MMBE, MB51, MB1B, PP02, MM02, etc.
Assists in creating integrated project plans and schedules for the supply team's capital and development projects.
Participates in the effectiveness evaluation of current material control standards.
Supports the planning and coordination of new product introductions; assess the impact and support changes to overall production schedules.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Minimum two years' experience in logistics coordinating, supply chain, or procurement.
Minimum two years' experience working in team environment.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written for internal and external supplier / customers.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of planning and inventory concepts, practices, and procedures.
Customer focus for both internal and external business relationships.
Working with buyers to help expedite material to the plant.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Advanced Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Charting/Graphing).
