Schedules production orders that comply with customer delivery requirements for sub-assemblies. Assist all office staff and supervisors in the daily functions of the operations. Coordinate visitors and applicants that come to the facility. Responsible for creating and maintaining spreadsheets, graphs and charts in Excel, as well as word processing and data entry for special projects
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Communicate with customers regarding current and future orders and requirements
Track customer orders through the manufacturing process
Participate in quality and design reviews with GDI quality and engineering
Report to management on current status of customer orders and relationship
Develop and process manufacturing related documentation for order tracking purposes
Process customer purchase orders
Serve as "Voice of the Customer" within GDI facilities
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, charts, etc.
Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are required.
