We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as we expand our fabrication equipment sales presence throughout Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Successfully sell fabrication equipment (press brake, cutting lasers, plate rolls, saws, waterjet, etc.) and manufacturing solutions by establishing and building relationships with existing and new customers

• Visit customers to understand their business, uncover and anticipate needs, and propose appropriate solutions

• Partner with Suppliers and Applications Engineering staff for technical support and demonstrations

• Develop and present solutions that address specific customer needs and requirements

• Close sales and meet or exceed goals

• Maintain strong collaborative relationships with all team members and departments

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the metal fabrication industry and product lines represented by the company and a thorough knowledge of competitor products and services

• Maintain contacts, accounts, activities, forecasts, quotes, etc

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of metal fabrication equipment and technology. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

• Clear, concise, confident, and persuasive communicator. Excellent listening and questioning/clarifying skills. Effective writing skills

• Ability to explain and present complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner

• Self-directed and goal-oriented

• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively to meet daily, monthly, and annual goals. Excellent follow-up and tracking skills

• Creative and adaptable improviser with an ability to work through unforeseen obstacles

• Professional demeanor with ethical character

• Must work well with others and have a team-focused approach

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Passport (or ability to obtain Passport)

• The ideal candidate will live in Iowa, Eastern Nebraska, or Western Illinois

• Ability and desire to travel within territory, to national trade shows, and occasionally overseas
