Fabrication Associate

Ferguson is seeking a Fabrication Associate to join our team!

Pay: starting at $23 per hour or higher depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate custom commercial and residential rectangular duct work with various types of connections and filters

• Forming, burning, knockdown, cutting, shearing, drilling, shaping, and assembling sheet metal

• Calculate time and material usage per customer job orders

• Inspect work output and quality

• Perform custom welding as needed

• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of prior sheet metal fabrication experience is preferred

• Experience and training in operating sheet metal machinery is highly preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and prepare materials lists

• Work to increase team efficiency and uphold high standards of safety at all times

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Be self-motivated, dependable, and punctual

• Possess the ability to multi-task and have excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally

• Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities of product on hand

• Ability to remain results-focused in the fast-paced customer service environment

• Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment

• Pay Range:

• $20.02 - $30.03

• Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
