Your Role

The Finance & Risk (F&R) practice can help financial services firms focus upon the three key challenges of increasing profitability, reducing complexity and managing regulations. Accenture draws on its end-to-end transformation capabilities, as well as core strengths in management consulting, technology, analytics and outsourcing to help firms address complexity, volatility while creating sustainable competitive advantage.

Finance & Risk Operating Model professionals design the vision and strategy for Finance organizations considering governance, organization design, location, interaction model and enabling technology. Oftentimes, this target state design includes the use of shared services, centers of excellence and outsourcing. This professional has experience both developing the operating model target state as well implementing shared services and/or centers of excellence for Finance in Financial Services. The Finance & Risk Operating Model Senior Manager understands the current issues facing the finance organizations of financial services companies including cost to serve pressures. Has experience with leading practice operating model design and implementation including shared service models.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals

  • Interacts with senior level (C-suite, SVP, VP, etc.) clients and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach

  • Has some latitude in decision-making

  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to deliver against assignments

  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility

  • Manages large-to-medium sized teams of diverse backgrounds, skill sets and technical/functional knowledge and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Understands how the use of shared services, centers of excellence, and outsourcing can enable a high performing finance function and can support a client through that journey.

  • Apply leading practice of shared services and centers of excellence design across core Finance areas

  • Ability to pull together target state operating model options, assess and gap against the current state, develop recommendations, roadmap and business case.

  • Ability to facilitate senior level clients through evaluation of options and selection of a target operating model and roadmap through workshops

  • Develop business cases and track the value from recommendations implemented

  • Encourage creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas and career plans to fruition

  • Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, manage account receivables, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client

  • Develop and maintain contact with C-level clients, be a trusted advisor to senior executives and/or management on their business needs and issues, and organize and leads proposal pursuit teams,

  • Identify and support business development initiatives; participate in and lead all aspects of the proposal development process

  • Develop thought capital and disseminate information around current and emerging trends

Job Summary: Dynalectric/KDC Systems seeks a unique and competent individual responsible for fostering a strong company safety culture around the "Zero Accidents Program" (ZAP) behavior-based model. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for leading and improving on existing safety programs, initiatives and policies in compliance with all health and safety laws in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position requires extensive experience and understanding of the Electrical Construction Industry and is responsible for assuring and maintaining safety compliance, recording, monitoring and reporting as required. This position will require excellent communication skills as part of our business dealing with our clients and internally with our company employees. Familiarity with CalOSHA is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * The Safety Manager is responsible for leading a comprehensive safety program that promotes a company culture of the "Zero Accidents Program" (ZAP) behavior-based process model. * Partners with Project Managers, Superintendents and other project team members to identify safety risk across Company Divisions. * Manages job site visits and audits to ensure visits and audits are conducted on a regular basis and as necessary with documented follow-up on corrective actions. * Enforces and improves current Safety policies in compliance within the company, client(s) and government standards. * Partner with Human Resources regarding any Worker's Compensation Cases to ensure all necessary follow up is completed for the injured employee, the company, the client, and the state. Manages Incidents/Accidents, Third Party, and Vehicle Accidents by investigating, reporting and tracking all losses and providing corrective action/follow-up * Works closely with Human Resources to develop and maintain drug and alcohol programs as required by the company, clients, and government in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. * Responsible for managing and improving on current Safety Education Programs either directly or indirectly through employees who are in a direct reporting relationship or through other trainers within the company and/or through the utilization of outside vendors. * Point of Contact for inspections, investigations and audits - continually promoting the ZAP behavior-based model for all project teams. * Tracks Company injuries/incidents for patterns in data to identify risk and opportunities for improvement. * Works closely with the CEO and Executive Management reporting on safety trend analysis and how to continually improve the overall Company Safety Culture and Safety Programs * Responsible for planning and providing input for the Safety Operating Budget to Maximize ROI on all Safety Programs and Initiatives. * Ensures the company safety/training manual current based on regulation changes, outside audits and internal requests * Establishes and maintains a positive, growth-oriented work environment * Set Safety goals and objectives in accordance with the overall Company objectives. * Guide the daily work of the personnel who are in a direct reporting relationship. * Perform regular performance evaluations of all personnel in a direct reporting relationship. * Monitor and review safety documents of subcontractors and vendors to ensure construction site safety and compliance. * Responsible for staying up to date and enforcing all safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, CALOSHA, EPA, CALPERA) to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards and report all variances to the CEO * Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the CEO as needed Qualifications: * Management experience in the Electrical Construction Industry in large, high-end commercial/public projects (Preferred) * Extensive experience working in the Electrical Construction Industry (Required) * Board Certified Safety Professional (BCSP Certified) (Required) * OSHA 500 - Trainer Course for Construction (Required) * Must be able to travel to active projects throughout Southern CA and work on various stages of construction and de-construction sites, and/or corporate office environment.
