Description:Service, repairs, and overhauls F-22 aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness. Repair, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems.
Incorporate engineering changes. Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components. Adjust, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories
Read and interpret F-22 engineering drawings, technical manuals, electrical systems, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes - Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders.
Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationship of circuits. Perform such tasks as making circuit analyzes, and tracing relationships in signal flow.
Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices, may provide technical guidance.
Regularly required to perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
Additional requirement: During periods of non electrical work, application of Low Observable material is required such as.
Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.
5 to 7 years of Fighter Aircraft Electrical/Avionics Experience
5 to 7 years Low Observable Coatings application experience and training
5 or 7 Skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS discipline rating or an equivalent Airframe and Power Plant, FAA certificate or equivalent 6 years experience
Knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
