This is an exciting opportunity to support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program.

As the F135 Technical Integration CAM/Process Improvement Manager you will be challenged to provide management of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) management of associated labor accounts. Also this dual role will provide project management leadership to support data management process improvements efforts that define and drive organizational alignment of F135 Sustainment value stream key processes.

This role will ensure full compliance with EVMS and IMS monitoring, status, and reporting requirements. These duties are performed within a fully integrated team environment, and will include daily interactions with the F135 Technical Integration Management Team, F135 Business Analysts and F135 EVMS Analysts.

Additionally the role will support the data integrity improvement plan and maintain organizational alignment with the all key stakeholders to drive resolution of process deficiencies to improve product & process quality.

Responsibilities include:

Cost Account Management:

  • Execute control account management function in accordance with Pratt & Whitney EVMS monthly rhythm, including but not limited to; calculating estimates to complete (ETCs), creating Budget Change Requests (BCR), identifying risks and opportunities, and reporting cost and schedule variances

  • Support program reviews including but not limited to; EAC reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and IMS reviews

  • Budget Change Request (BCR) processing

  • IMS analysis (horizontal & vertical) and IMS status

  • Estimate At Completion (EAC) analysis, and Cost and Schedule Variance Analysis

  • Actively participate in the F135 Sustainment Requirements Working Group to develop and refine contract requirements

  • Collaborate with F135 Technical Integration Management team to develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for long-term Sustainment contract efforts

  • Complete F135 Technical Integration Management manpower estimate for Life Cycle Cost submittal and identify cost reduction opportunities.

Process Improvement Management:

  • Provide value stream integrated leadership & management of data/process improvements across the F135 sustainment value stream

  • Define integrated plans and recurring status as required to align & drive results

  • Plans will drive key elements for data quality system, standard work, value stream mapping events, & insertion of quality requirements

  • Ensure common methodology across VSM sub-teams to maximize aligned success of core key processes

  • Ensure alignment of complementary proficiencies & required training to enhance correct execution of standard work

  • Support the evolution of processes and tools from a manual centered function to automation to drive efficiencies across the value stream

  • Leverage the use of ACE tools to aid in Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work development

  • Support the evolution of ACE culture through the team and organization to reach programmatic goals

The F135 Sustainment Cost Manager will be responsible for the development, collection, documentation, and standardization of cost data for use by the F135 Sustainment Integrated Program Management team. Key Responsibilities: * Use of CORE tools to create SIPOC for key use of cost data across the value stream. * Identification of source of cost data across the various system to obtain key program historical cost inputs * Generate standardize processes to replicate perform cost inputs to support key business objectives (i.e. best value criteria, proposal planning analysis, Estimate at Completion, affordability projects) * Collect and maintain historical cost library for sustainment contracts * This position provides an opportunity to understand every aspect of the F135 Program, and to work with every functional group that supports the program. * Strong proven leadership skills, strategic thinking, sharing a vision and ability to gain consensus among a diverse group of individuals and organizations required. * The ideal candidate will have a strong communication and strive to build strong relationship skills and ability to interact well with the USG customer. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field required. * A minimum of 10+ years' experience in logistics support, supply, procurement, proposal development, or program/project management required. * At least 5 years of SAP experience required. * US Citizenship required due to government contracts * You have the ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: * Master degree in Engineering, Business or related field strongly desired * Knowledge of military customers, propulsion system sustainment, and government proposals * You're adept at managing cross-functional teams and leading cross functional meetings * Strong communication and relationship skills, ability to self-start, analyze complex situations and proposals, excellent business judgment and customer focus.
