Job Summary:

The F135 Sustainment Program Financial Manager is primarily responsible for execution of day-to-day financial related activities for the F135 Sustainment team. Those activities include but not limited to: Collaboration with cross functional teams on assigned tasks, initiate and driving financial reporting efforts on technical and contractual tasks, coordinate with functional group compile overall F135 financials (where required) as well be a direct link to provide support to F135 sustainment program office needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing collaboration with F135 Integration focal and cross functional teams on sustainment program office needs, such as ISMT, IPMT, stand ups and fill back communication to sustainment team. Drive financial execution on F135 sustainment technical as well as Capital, Overhead and other Discretionary projects.

  • Work collaboratively with finance and engineering team and generate monthly, mid-month status as well as Long Range Planning (LRP) reporting for future years.

  • Leading monthly financial review with engineering and finance team and determine financial impact to F135 sustainment portfolio and timely report out to leadership.

  • Identify sustainment financial related actions from associated F135 meetings, reach out to associated owners and drives them to closure in a timely fashion. Act as the primary financial Sustainment point-of-contact (POC) for any financial opportunities, risks/issues arise to ensure efficient resolution and accurate information flow to the team, and lead/support special integration projects, as they arise.

  • Support as a backup person for all the F135 sustainment meetings that owned by F135 Sustainment Integration team.

  • Participate in CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) engagement meetings and provide support where required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of project engineering, project management, financial management and logistical experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working in high pace environment experience is a plus

  • Ability to communicate with cross functional teams as well as all levels of management.

  • Must have a high level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy prior reporting to management.

  • Proficient in EVMS, SAP and Microsoft Office Suite products and business acumen desired

  • Control Account Manager (CAM) certification is highly preferred but not required.

  • F135 program knowledge not required, but a plus

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
