F135 International Sustainment is seeking an Interim Contractor Support (ICS) Field Service Engineer (FSE) to support the Republic of Korea Air Force who will be flying F-35A CTOL aircraft. The assignment is expected to last up to 24 months with the potential of being up to 3 years, dependent upon company business needs and personal developments

The selected individual will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Support site activation activities as required

  • Coordinate F135 propulsion system maintenance activities with the PW team, flight line operating areas, squadron and Lockheed Martin maintenance operating areas

  • Perform controls activities related to ALIS processing and analysis, propulsion system software loads, activations and monitoring of propulsion system Prognostic Health Monitoring, Engine Health Reporting Codes, and Maintenance Built In Test Systems (MBITS)

  • Advise and assist the Customer in performance of F135 propulsion system maintenance, ensuring activities are performed IAW technical data and safe engine operation and maintenance procedures. Activities include fault isolation/troubleshooting and F135 repair actions consistent with the F135 Unit Level Maintenance Concept

  • Support Government Property Management processes for program execution, to include but not limited to Support Equipment (SE), tooling, supply and government processes

  • Work closely with P&W Customer Support Engineering and Sustainment to resolve technical and logistical problems involving F135 engine operation and maintenance through the use of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and MERLIN System

  • Use initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root causes, and implement corrective actions

  • Actively support ACE initiatives and ensure employee safety by complying with and supporting EH&S activities

  • Actively interface with local customer personnel at all levels from senior leadership to the newest recruits

  • Provide timely insight to PW management relative to emerging issues and relationship with this valued P&W customer

We have a rare opportunity for a talented USN/USMC F135 Sustainment Deputy, Senior Manager at our East Hartford, Connecticut location. Do you have the experience to join our team?JobDescription The Senior Manager, USN/USMC F135 Sustainment Deputy assists the Associate Director in the management and oversight of all actions related to the US Navy and US Marine Corps fleet of F-35 aircraft and F135 propulsion systems. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: * The Deputy will be involved in the support of the Pratt & Whitney field teams at USN/USMC bases and monitor propulsion system performance metrics for each site along with fleet management plans for retrofits and modifications. * You will ensure customer perspectives and needs are considered in plan development and provide communication with the customer as necessary (to include the Joint Program Office, OPNAV/HQMC, Commander, Naval Air Forces, Naval Air Systems Command, Wings/Groups and squadrons). * The deputy will also monitor propulsion system non-mission capable drivers ensuring proper priority and oversight within the F135 Sustainment organization. * In addition you will work with the F-35 Site Activation Team in the activation and transition of US Navy ships to F-35 operations and the activation of new USN/USMC F-35 bases. * The Deputy will coordinate with field sites to ensure appropriate training and skill sets to provide the highest level of customer support.
