As a key member of the F119 Program Office, this position will lead the F119 Sustainment Program for the Raptor Engine 2 (SPaRE2) business team that is responsible for business acquisition and execution.

The F119 sustainment contract is a performance based contract with the United States Air Force (USAF) that covers material, maintenance, tooling, technical data and engineering/technical support of the F119 engines that power the F-22 Raptor.

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

Business Acquisition for Sustainment and Retrofits Pre proposal through contract award

Business Execution Earned Value Management (EVM) compliance through Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Management

Cost Management for the contract as well as leading F119 overhaul cost reduction activities

Operational Management Meeting (OMM) Sales and Manpower forecasts provide input for the F119 Sustainment activities

This position works closely with USAF, Military Engines Finance, Contracts, Earned Value Management, Pricing, Procurement, Business Acquisition Center of Excellence (BACE) and Engineering.

Education:

  • BS/BA degree required
  • A degree in Business, Finance or a related field preferred
  • MS/MA or advanced degree preferred

Experience/Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degreed candidates must have the following: 12+ total years experience, comprising of Earned Value Management, Contract Proposals/Negotiations., Finance and/or Business Management

  • Master's degreed candidates must have 8+ years in the experience outlined above

  • 4+ years of people management experience

  • US Citizenship due to access to government contracts

Preferred:

Candidates should be expertly executing the following competencies: Strategic Leadership, Forward Thinking and Business Innovation. The successful candidate will be team-oriented and have excellent written as well as oral communication skills.

Travel: 10% domestic
