Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Global Supply Chain Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain Organization. This leadership role is located in office on-site at Palmdale, California or Redondo Beach, California.

This role is for a F-35 GSC Program Manager 3 and will be responsible, accountable and have the authority for the operational efficiency, strategy, planning and execution of the Production GSC execution for the F-35. This role is part of the GSC Program Management team and will be challenged to resolve issues and implement solutions, in a quick fast-paced environment - including process improvements, tools, metrics, data integration, and coordination and collaboration with key GSC and program stakeholders.

Job Description:

  • Single Point of Contact (POC) for a portion of the GSC SOW to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Director

  • Responsible for timely closure of assigned actions, projects, initiatives and efforts for GSC in support of the IPT goals and expectations

  • Work with the GSC functional homerooms and establish the GSC training strategy, plan, facilitators and milestone completion status and health

  • Ability to travel international and domestic up to 25%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning or accounting, OR a Master's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning or accounting

  • Must have program costs and/or schedule experience, CAM experience

  • Must have Aerospace experience

  • Must have the experience with manufacturing and supply chain operations

  • Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters of Business Administration

  • Masters of Science in Supply Chain

  • Must have the ability to prepare and present Executive-level presentations

  • Proven ability to set a vision; assess external and internal factors to determine long-term business direction; create strategies that shape the future and inspire the team, resulting in sustainable value and performance; critical thinking

  • Proven ability to lead with courage; make bold moves, willingness to speak up and to take on new challenges; take calculated risks, with appropriate mitigation plans; self-aware, transparent and authentic; seek feedback from others

  • Proven ability to act with speed; understand the need for urgency to meet the needs of the business and stakeholders; decisive, drive timely decision-making; empower others with clear accountability and appropriate support

  • Experience as an accomplished problem-solver and change-agent whose unique mix of technical and business expertise lends itself to developing innovative Supply Chain strategies

Salary Range: $164,300.00 - $246,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
