JOB TITLE: Systems Operator B
REPORT TO: Shift Supervisor with directions from a Team Leader
SHIFT NIGHTS/HOURS:
2nd Shift position: (1:00 p.m.- 9:00 am.) Monday - Friday over a course of 5 days (40+ hours) per week. Some overtime may be required throughout the week and some Saturday Evenings.
STARTING PAY: $21.12 ($1.00 shift premium) with the ability to earn more.

We are currently seeking a Systems Operator B to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems. As a Systems Operator B, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our company's manufacturing.
Systems Operators B will be responsible for setting the press up, selecting dies, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting problems.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
Responsible for the safe and efficient running of the extrusion press
Promptly communicates to supervisor any issues concerning health, safety, quality, and efficiencies
Responsible for the in-process inspection/verification of parts during extrusion
Monitor and maintain good physical condition of extrusion press and handling equipment
Meet the quality standards required by customer specifications
Responsible for inspecting parts after the stretching operation
Follow company procedures and policies
Responsible to ensure right alloys are running for correct process
Read and understand shop orders
Read and understand calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Read and understand prints
Run the press and meet all press requirements
Must be able to read a go- and no-go gauge to check material after it has been aged
Must fill out check sheets for any moving equipment before it is used
Operate an electric cart and overhead crane
Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader
Work Environment/ Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25- 75 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and is not a climatized building
What You Will Need:
HS Diploma/GED preferred
Must be able to pass a skills-based test
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively: self-motivated: self-starter
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
A minimum of three (3) months' related experience and/or training, preferred, but willing to train the right individuals
Must be able to pass company background check and drug screen.
