Title: Extrusion Maintenance Technician

Shift:3rd shift (mandatory overtime as determined by production and various projects)

Salary: $32.00/hr - $33.00/hr

Our client is a global company with regional sales offices throughout the U.S. and manufacturing facilities based in IL and international. They provide merchandising solutions for top brands and retailers all over the world. Looking to add an additional maintenance technician due to an increase in work and large projects upcoming.

Extrusion MaintenanceTechnician Role:

This individual will be working in custom profile plastic extrusion setting as a maintenance mechanic repairing various production machines such as extruders, saws, pullers, cutters, and other downstream/fabrication equipment. May need to assist with occasional breakdowns involving injection molding presses and fabrication equipment.

Extrusion Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain physical structure, including building and grounds
• Paint structures, perform masonry work, and repair plumbing fixtures and woodwork
• Make repairs and maintain tools and equipment
• Repair, maintain, and install low voltage (
• Measure, cut, bond, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit, water, and air lines
• Move, install, and adjust appliances, fixtures, motors, and other electrical/mechanical equipment for safety
• Make routine checks on equipment, document status, and complete necessary reports using CMMS

Extrusion Maintenance Technician Reporting Relationships:

• Will report to the maintenance manager.

About You:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience
• Industrial electrical knowledge/experience required
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience preferred
• Pneumatic knowledge preferred
• Certifications relating to mechanical, industrial electrical, PLC, hydraulic/pneumatic is preferred
