Summary of Job Duties:

Extra Help/ SB Instructors for Summer Bridge Academy (SBA) will work with the SBA Director to create a curriculum plan for composition or math classes during SBA 2024. Instructors will attend mandatory staff training and teach courses during the week of Summer Bridge Academy. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

• Must possess a bachelor's degree;

• Must have completed courses in math and composition.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

• Previous experience teaching instructional courses.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend staff training Tuesday, June 11th

• Thursday, June 13th, 2024;

• Teach classes from Sunday, June 16th

• Friday, June 21st, 2024.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Be a responsible and dependable person;

• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills;

• Be able to work independently and as a part of a productive team.
