About the role

The External Quality Audit Manager is responsible for conducting GMP Compliance Audits of Suppliers, potential suppliers, and External Manufacturing Organizations at Reckitt Nutrition and conduct follow up actions in order to drive improvement and compliance to Reckitt Nutrition standards. In this role, you'll ensure that Quality expectations are known and understood well by suppliers.

Your responsibilities

  • Utilize Process Maps and drawings to communicate and understand liquid mixing, filtration, heating, cooling, drying, and packaging operations

  • Create technical summaries or audit reports

  • Partner with Suppliers to close gaps on audit observations including records, documentation, procedures, manufacturing operations and ingredient requirement by regulation and internal Food Safety requirements

  • Organize work load using project management tools to assure work stays on track and is balanced with resource considerations

  • Prioritize routine audit work with Business priorities (manager, strategic partners in Procurement and Marketing/R&D)

  • Audit processes to ensure finished product safety and quality and support active supplier development strategies as prioritized

  • Develop and train suppliers as well as internal stakeholders

  • Communicate effectively and build cooperative and supportive working relationships with Global and Regional QA and procurement teams

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Pharma, or equivalent technical degree.

  • Min. 5 years of work experience in a quality organization within the food (preferably spray dried dairy), infant formula, or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Knowledge of Food, Pharmaceutical, and ideally Infant Formula Regulations for US and other geographies as needed for back up auditing. Maintaining knowledge over time as changes occur in relevant regulations governing Reckitt Nutrition Infant Formula.

  • Knowledge and practical application of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Advanced training in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HAACP)

  • Experience with various risk assessment (e.g., HACCP, FMEA) tools to identify risks and solutions to identified risk.

  • Experience with Infant Formula, Food, and / or Pharmaceutical Regulations.

  • Experience with auditing assessment and follow up of GMP and HACCP audit gaps and tracking.

  • Hygienic Design implementation and improvement.

  • Able to travel 40-50% of the time

US salary ranges

USD $82,080.00 - $130,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
