VACANCY NOTICE THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENT

TITLE: Program Assistants for Children with Special Needs for Extended School Year Program DATE OF OPENING: July 2024

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in assisting with school aged children with special needs.

• Experience in assisting with planning and implementing various services for children with special needs including behavioral and self-help programs.

• Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist in planning and implementing a program for children with special needs. Background is needed in speech and language development, development of fine and gross motor skills, areas of daily living skills, social skills, and toileting needs as necessary.

SALARY: $25 p/h

As per current contract, up to three and half hours a day, four days a week for up to six weeks (depending on assignment).
