Take the Next Step Toward a Better Future!
We aspire to be a leading global force in making OU degrees and programs available to individuals and organizations around the world, transforming them through learning. Come join us!
Who we are:
For more than 50 years, OU Extended Campus has evolved to meet the academic and professional demands of our students and have become internationally recognized in higher education for nontraditional learners.
We are best characterized by the populations we serve, as well as the specialized programming we offer. Primarily focusing on the higher education needs of place-bound working adults, military-connected personnel, and those seeking specialized study in selected professional areas, OU Extended Campus offers a variety of degrees at both graduate and undergraduate levels, including several programs offered collaboratively with other OU colleges. To facilitate understanding of the complex world in which we live and build on its historical roots, the college emphasizes a holistic approach to learning, focuses on the immediate application of learning to one's life and work, promotes lifelong learning opportunities, and encourages the work of active citizenship.
What we value:
We are STUDENT-CENTERED. Our students are fundamental to all that we do, so every decision and action contributes to our students' learning experiences.
We are SERVICE-ORIENTED. We provide exceptional service for our students, clients, and each other.
We are INCLUSIVE. We are strengthened through diversity and we actively seek to embrace and learn from all.
We are QUALITY-DRIVEN. Students learn best when they are engaged, challenged, and supported, and we seek to provide an optimal combination of those factors throughout all our program offerings.
We are INNOVATIVE. We constantly search for the most effective ways to serve and engage our unique student populations and to do so, we encourage forward-thinking, creativity, and initiative.
We act and relate with INTEGRITY. We operate honestly, ethically, transparently, and respectfully.
