Export Control Specialist

‐* Seeking Export Control Classification Specialist with demonstrated technical and export control experience to support Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics' (SEDA) best-in-class export control program. This role support SEDA's Export Control technology management.

‐* Evaluate technical information from multiple sources including various engineering databases, procurement database, supplier and customer portal, tools and systems to perform Export classification of goods.

‐* Analyze drawings, schematics, technical information and technologies in SEDA's Export Control Database and determine USML, and ECCN.

‐* Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and other functional groups to determine functional group requirements and alignment with Export Control strategic objectives.

‐* Support Import Classification as needed and be open to learning HTS classification.

‐* Provide Classification support to Engineering and other functional groups on classification issues; work closely with SEDA's Export Control technology management team to resolve issues and training.

‐* Support Ruling requests; write and document classification determination.

‐* Coordinate classification requests, technical data or technology approval, and management of export classification database.
