In our early preschool program, active 2- and 3-year-olds participate in engaging experiences and environments that support the development of their brain, body, and social-emotional skills.
The program is designed to provide the structure and support children need during this important transition from toddlerhood to preschool.
The foundation of our curriculum is Creative Curriculum, a nationally-recognized, state-approved program that supports the development of critical skills. We enhance this curriculum with the latest research into brain-based development, available only at The Sunshine House.
A typical day as an explorers teacher includes relationship building exercises, small group learning experiences, story time focusing on literacy skills and character development, plus music and movement and outside time!
