Holly Hill Hospital in Raleigh, NC is Hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Are you a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner seeking a rewarding opportunity? Join our specialized team at Holly Hill Hospital, providing acute inpatient treatment services for diverse psychiatric issues in both males and females. Weekend and PTO coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric medical care in collaboration with psychiatric physicians

• Conduct Psychiatric Admitting Evaluations for newly admitted patients

• Ensure appropriate orders and recommendations for treatment are made

• Conduct reviews of patients' psychiatric/medical status as needed

• Communicate with families on significant psychiatric/medical issues

• Participate in utilization reviews with insurance companies

• Make appropriate discharge recommendations and prescriptions

• Countersign all telephone orders in the patient record

Requirements:

• PhD or Master's Degree in Nursing from a recognized school

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in North Carolina

• Board Certified through ANCC as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health

• Current National DEA Certificate

• Minimum of one year post-graduate experience as a PMHNP
